This original torn paper collage is a piece from my collection of Whitby. This captures the view from the bridge and looks down to the Beck at low tide in the beautiful fishing village of Staithes, near Whitby, North Yorkshire. I tear and precisely cut tiny pieces of recycled paper and carefully blend them together to create art that is full of colour, texture and detail. The closer you look the more you will see. This piece captures the character, charm and  quaintness of Staithes perfectly, and it will be a delightful addition to the home of anyone who has had chance to visit this delightful village.

The piece measures 20 x 16 ins (48 x 40 x 0.5cm) on a canvas board. It comes unframed, to allow you to make your own choice of frame.
